Thoughts on Vesperia:
- That...that opening theme, ffffff. I'm really torn on it. It's just so...poppy. I listened to the Japanese version and I like it better, even though it's the same person singing both versions. So that makes me a huge weeaboo, but oh well. The English version just sounds even poppier to me for some reason.
- Yuri is awesome. I named him Awesome.
- I started out hating Estelle's voice, but I guess I'm getting used to it, because it doesn't irritate me anywhere near as much as it did when I first met her. Regardless, her name is Earbleed. I actually really like her, though, except for when she starts spouting that "THESE ARE THE THREADS THAT TIE FATE TOGETHER" or whatever bullshit.
- I'm assuming cellmate dude from the beginning of the game joins your party later, since he's in the intro. I CAN'T WAIT BECAUSE HE'S TOTALLY COOL, I CAN ALREADY TELL.
- At first I tried to get Achievements, but then I realized I don't really give a shit about them, lmao.
- I wanted to name Rita "Bitchy" because it's appropriate, but my mom is frequently in the room when I play these games because we have the one TV :(
-Annoying's Karol's VA sounds really familiar. Was she in Digimon or something? ETA: Wikipedia's not giving me anybody I know, so I guess not. Rita's is the one who was in Digimon |D And she was Yukari also, which I recognized immediately.
- Do we get an explanation for Vesperia? The Abyss part of Tales of the Abyss came from the Qliphoth, right?
- I switch to easy mode for any boss I can't beat the first time. I'm a wuss.
- Either they always reuse their world map music or it's the most generic I've ever heard, it sounds exactly like Abyss's to me.
- This game rocks.
ETA: Cool guy's name is Raven, so obviously I had to name him Goldfish.
Thoughts on Senko no Ronde:
- I haven't played it yet, I'm just preemptively saying that I suck at it because I'm allergic to fightan gaems.
- I got it for five bucks used (!).
Other thoughts:
- I've probably inherited my dad's acid reflux, yay!
- My eyesight is about 300/20 |D
- I no longer have Persona 3 (I traded it in for store credit along with a couple games; all together they completely paid for Vesperia and SnR), but that's okay because I still have FES. And I kept the artbook.
